During the process itself the head passes through various stages of treatment. We first disassemble it, then verify whether the valves and reins are worn-out, and then clean and wash the engine. After being washed, the head is sand-polished to restore its original condition. The main part of head treatment is processing the valve places using appropriate tools, i.e. special knives that our machines use and, polishing valves to a corresponding angle, the possibility of compression missing on valves is ruled out. After each treatment, we test the valves on vacuum meter.
After processing the valve bearings we start the straightening of a engine head. It is performed by two machines with grindstones or knives. When all these operations are finished we wash the heads and start packing, i.e. we put valves, valve rubbers and valve springs.
If the camshaft case is worn out we can process it and adjust it to catalog measures in a very short period of time.
The most modern machine diagnoses cracks in the cylinder head with precision of 95%. The machine Serdi SPT 1501 works on the principle of a hot water and air. The air is let to the cylinder head and heated onto the operating temperature. If there are any cracks on the cylinder head, the bubbles of water start going out of the cracks, so it is easy to locate the spot where the engine is porous.
